Butterfly Walk Shopping Centre

We designed a refurbishment proposal for the main shopping mall - together with creating an improved street presence and visibility for the centre, which is ultimately intended to regenerate Butterfly Walk and the wider community.

Issues regarding street-scape and massing were addressed through the introduction of woven stainless steel in-fill panels. Render to the existing brickwork reduces the oppressive feeling generated by these brick facades and a new rotating perimeter canopy provides a robust yet cohesive approach to the branding of the centre and its visual impact.
